Canadiana Fest is coming up on Saturday October 7, and with that comes The Great Canadian Cosplay Contest! Bring your best recreation of your favourite Canadian character and you could win a $200 voucher and two tickets to see comedian Howie Mandel at Bronze sponsor Caesar’s Windsor Hotel & Casino on Saturday, November 4. The rules are simple:
- Come to the Canadiana Fest information booth and pick up a number. We’ll pin that number to you, and if you’re here at the time of the 12:30 parade, you’re welcome to join that parade.
- There will be a team of judges moving around the park. They will choose the top 5 costumes and ask them to come up on stage at around 4:30 or 5:00, right before The Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Band plays.
- Contestants can take 30 seconds to strut their stuff and explain their costume.
- The audience will crown the winner by applause for each contestant.
