Tom Sawyer – A Tribute To Rush presented a full three hour set of the hits and deep cuts of the Rush catalog!
Mike Fornes and the Gordon Lightfoot Tribute Band had everyone singing along. We enjoyed his insights into Gordon’s life and times.
Juno-nominated jazz artis Andrew Rathbun was a hit at the first Fest! He played songs from his latest release, The Speed of Time. Here’s a sample:
Local band Hen Pecked Dawgs brought their Celtic sounds and old time sea shanties to the Fest stage in the afternoon. They were led by the late Charlie Holleman, who was a dear friend to the Fest.
The Southern Straight Singers wowed us with their First Nations drumming and singing. Many people noted this as one of their best memories of the Fest!
The entire Kalamazoo Pipe Band opened the Fest with a glorious parade. Here they are at the Holland Scottish Festival in their full regalia!
